SUGAR MOMMY On Tuesday afternoon, Zero's clamshell will ping! from wherever they have it. Should they pick it up to see what all the fuss is about, they will realize that their RULEBOOK app has updated to version 2.0. Opening the app will reveal that there has been an addendum to the rules... but one that seems meant exclusively for them. No other survivor will be able to see these additions. They read as such: 1. Each week, you will select ONE out of three options. 2.You will NOT KNOW what any of these options are until YOU HAVE SELECTED ONE. 3. The results may be BENEFICIAL OR DETRIMENTAL TO THE GROUP. 4. You CANNOT TAKE BACK YOUR CHOICE once it is made. 5. You may PRIVATELY CONFIRM YOUR ROLE if asked, but you may not FREELY OFFER THE INFORMATION to others. A notification will arrive the moment they have finished reading through the update. Its contents are no less confusing. [ does eenie meanie exist in midgard? probably not, but just roll with it. Zero picks the left fleshlight. inserting her index and third finger, she'll brusquely probe for the sphere and yank it out with little fanfare.

alright mods, what've we got? ]

[... Well. Zero will only have a moment to examine the sphere of light, for it will begin to shine brightly enough to blind her for a couple of seconds. When this happens, she will hear an unfamiliar voice. It will whisper:]

[Once her sight returns, both the sphere of light and the fleshlights will be gone. She'll hear Carlos groan behind her, clearly frustrated.]

[WELL.

There's no time for Zero to walk back to Carlos, because something will happen the moment she pulls the sphere out of the fleshlight. Zero will only have a moment to observe the light before it flashes, temporarily blinding her for all of two seconds. When she regains her bearings, she'll realize that both the sphere and the fleshlight have gone missing.

In its place sits a cardboard box just a little bit larger than Zero's own hand.

Behind her, Carlos lets out a sigh of relief.]

See? Your luck isn't as bad you think.

TALK TO CARLOS

[Carlos is waiting for her inside the hospital room, staring at the heart monitor when she arrives. He'll glance up as she walks into the room, lifting a hand in greeting.]

It's good to see you again.

[ she'll scan the room again but nope - looks like it's the same place, same beeping, same do-gooder. ]

So, can you tell me what it was now?

[That's fine. The sphere of light will flash, temporarily blinding Zero. It is while she's unable to see her surroundings that something familiar will happen. A voice she cannot recognize will whisper against her ear:]

[And then, her sight will return. The fleshlights and the sphere of light will be gone, and there will be nothing left behind on the table.

Carlos will still be here, though, frowning heavily in her direction. He says nothing.]

He's leaning against one of the walls of the room when Zero walks in, and will nod once he spots her.]

As usual, however, the sphere of light will flash as soon as Zero has plucked it from the fleshlight. She will be momentarily blinded, but once her vision returns? She will see that both the sphere and the three fleshlights are gone. In their place, she will see nine CD sleeves, each one with a disc inside.

Behind her, Carlos hums.]

[He's standing next to the meal table when she comes in, arms crossed in front of his chest. There's still enough space for her to squeeze in and grab a fleshlight if she really wants to ignore the shit out of him, but. Yeah. Carlos is just going to frown heavily at her while she's in the room.]
