HONEYPOT On Monday afternoon, Dick's clamshell will ping! from wherever they have it. Should they pick it up to see what all the fuss is about, they will realize that their RULEBOOK app has updated to version 2.0. Opening the app will reveal that there has been an addendum to the rules... but one that seems meant exclusively for them. No other survivor will be able to see these additions. They read as such: 1. Each week, you will be given A TASK by your guides. 2. The specifics of this task will VARY FROM WEEK TO WEEK, and there's no guarantee that any two tasks will be the same. 3. You MUST COMPLETE THIS TASK BEFORE THE DAY OF THE TRIAL, regardless of what it entails. 4. You may PRIVATELY CONFIRM YOUR ROLE if asked, but you may not OFFER THE INFORMATION FREELY to others. Particularly, one that doesn't seem to fit into any part of the hotel, and absolutely not one that they meant to go through. As they regain their bearings and look at their surroundings, they'll realize that the door they walked through is no longer there. It seems like they have only one choice, and that's to walk forward until they reach their destination. It is there that they will find a familiar face... [On Friday morning, Dick will wake up to find a disc (inside a disc sleeve) in his hand. There's nothing written on it, but if he thinks to check it out in the Movie Theater, he will find that it's compatible with the equipment in the projection room.

Though, he may wish he had left it be after watching the footage recorded on the disc.

The footage begins with several shots of different locations one after another. There are twenty six locations in total; one of them Dick will recognize as a location from his world, and another nineteen he will recognize as structurally sound versions of the ruins he can see from the ship's Deck. In each of these shots, he will see nothing out of place. The worlds seem to be at peace. There's no sign of trouble to be seen.

And then the video moves on to show an island, now filmed like a timelapse video. Dick will see everyone who has died so far, from Prompto to Beck, milling around the island. Day turns to night, night turns to day, and everything seems normal... For a while. Eventually, he will notice that something is changing. Perhaps he will see Escha missing an arm, her expression one of sheer agony as black goo drips from her shoulder. Perhaps he will see Beck, her teeth falling out only to be replaced by sharp, glowing fangs. Perhaps he will see Hizamaru, the flesh slowly melting off his face as his body's composition shifts to resemble goo. They're all desperate and powerless, agonizing as their humanity is taken away piece by piece.

Little by little, everyone who has died will lose parts of themselves — until nothing remains. It's a painful transformation that spans over several weeks. When the process is complete, they will all have become demons.
