DOXXER On Tuesday afternoon, Junpei's clamshell will ping! from wherever they have it. Should they pick it up to see what all the fuss is about, they will realize that their RULEBOOK app has updated to version 2.0. Opening the app will reveal that there has been an addendum to the rules... but one that seems meant exclusively for them. No other survivor will be able to see these additions. They read as such: 1. Each week, you may check ONE of your fellow participants to learn if they also HAVE BEEN GIVEN A ROLE. 2. You will have to use the PROVIDED TOOL in order to receive your information. 3. You must ACCEPT what you have learned. 4. You may PRIVATELY CONFIRM YOUR ROLE if asked, but you may not FREELY OFFER THE INFORMATION to others. A notification will arrive the moment they have finished reading through the update. Its contents are no less confusing. The fact that the moment they open a door and walk through it, they will find themselves falling face first an entirely new location. Particularly, one that doesn't seem to fit into any part of the hotel, and absolutely not one that they meant to go through. As they regain their bearings and look at their surroundings, they'll realize that the door they walked through is no longer there. It seems like they have only one choice, and that's to walk through a long, secure hallway until they reach their destination. It is there that they will find a familiar face... Lucky for me especially because they like me well enough. I haven't confirmed with them that I have a job. I wasn't sure if it'd be safe for them to know, considering my job is finding everyone else.

[...but. Hm.] Since I went above and beyond my job this week, do you think they would let you answer some questions for me?

That depends on the questions. I can't do a whole lot just in exchange for you doing the job-- what you asked me for last time was pretty small, compared to information.

We know there's at least five of us out there, including me and including Taako who I've been trying to get a read on but right now I've got nothing in the way of his role. This isn't a case where every single person has a role in this game, is it? There's a set number?

It's frustrating because even knowing all of this, I don't know the names of their roles or their rules or what to even do. Is there any kind of danger in implying to Dick and Escha I might know more than I let on as long as I don't specifically tell them how? I played twenty questions with them to figure things out.

I mean, if you played twenty questions with them, I don't know why you'd expect it to be different the other way around.

I wouldn't suggest playing too loosely with the rules. You can answer if they ask.

Are you saying you care about what happens to me, Chuuya? [This is a poor time to flirt, but it lightens the mood and makes his choice feel less heavy.]

I care about what happens to anyone I'm working with. Back home, that was the organization. Right now, that's you.

I don't like letting my people get hurt, so don't push your luck. What happens if you do isn't up to me.
