DOXXER On Tuesday afternoon, Junpei's clamshell will ping! from wherever they have it. Should they pick it up to see what all the fuss is about, they will realize that their RULEBOOK app has updated to version 2.0. Opening the app will reveal that there has been an addendum to the rules... but one that seems meant exclusively for them. No other survivor will be able to see these additions. They read as such: 1. Each week, you may check ONE of your fellow participants to learn if they also HAVE BEEN GIVEN A ROLE. 2. You will have to use the PROVIDED TOOL in order to receive your information. 3. You must ACCEPT what you have learned. 4. You may PRIVATELY CONFIRM YOUR ROLE if asked, but you may not FREELY OFFER THE INFORMATION to others. A notification will arrive the moment they have finished reading through the update. Its contents are no less confusing. The fact that the moment they open a door and walk through it, they will find themselves falling face first an entirely new location. Particularly, one that doesn't seem to fit into any part of the hotel, and absolutely not one that they meant to go through. As they regain their bearings and look at their surroundings, they'll realize that the door they walked through is no longer there. It seems like they have only one choice, and that's to walk through a long, secure hallway until they reach their destination. It is there that they will find a familiar face... [He may or may not just be testing to see what the NPCs can do now.]

[he's just being optimistic and assuming junpei will live!]

Fair enough. [To all of that. At least someone is optimistic, inb4 he dies next week. But he's taking this fairly seriously and after a moment he drains his wine glass.]

...one last question. When it says I have to accept what I've learned...what exactly does that mean? Am I supposed to do something with them afterwards, or is that choice up to me?

It's up to you what you do with the knowledge, but if you do get info on someone, just remember you can't freely share anything about your own job. No going up to them and telling them you know because you found out through your role.
