On Tuesday afternoon, all four of their clamshells will ping! from wherever they have it. Should they pick it up to see what all the fuss is about, they will realize that their RULEBOOK app has updated once again. There's one more rule in their list now, though everything on this page remains unreadable to others...

The new rule is:

I thought about checking Izuminokami because he keeps getting bullshit letters, but he seemed to imply he didn't know anything about special or extra rules. My other thoughts right now are Wei Wuxian, Edelgard, and Katy.

Any sway one way or another?

Higekiri correctly suspects Nikkari of a role—that or you told him?—but among the swords, only Nikkari so far. Then again, I don't know how close he and Izuminokami are.

... Is anyone close with Edelgard? With Wei Wuxian and Katy, I feel like there are those of us here who could look into them through mundane means.

I didn't tell Higekiri anything about it. He might've heard from Dick. [But if Nikkari's the only sword so far, that takes off a branch of people.] I think they're all a little scattered even if they're from the same citadel. Tonbokiri and Nikkari are close, same with Higekiri and Hizamaru, but Izuminokami's the youngest.

Haymitch said he'd look into Katy, but it was an option. And I guess I can just ask Wei Wuxian myself. It's not like I don't see him often enough.

...Edelgard...I don't know.

She and I are on friendly terms, but I don't know if she'd react if I walked up to her and started dropping hints.

All I know is that she did talk to Escha last week, so she learned about her role.

She wanted to know how I knew about the different strains of demons that were going around. Told me I could be a liability, some other stuff...and started implying Escha must've known more than she let on. I think she was checking to see if I knew and I didn't bother giving her any tells.

I'm getting that impression, too. [Sigh.] There are people I can 100% rule out, like Higekiri and Tamamo. Maou I'd also rule out because he'd be most likely to yell about it instead of keeping it to himself. Hizamaru would have told me...I doubt Catra would care enough even if she had a part.

...Edelgard makes sense. And I'll keep working the way I did before.

Eddie? She got snappy with me when all I did was call her a sociopath to her face. I'd say she's a little sus, but I think that's just her personality. I'd be curious though.
