Escha genuinely adored Tamamo!!! She thought she was so brave and outgoing and, like, dignified, in a way?! And Escha was closeish, for the early game, with Junpei, so she was kind of always keeping an eye on Tamamo out of curiosity, but no one really explained what their relationship was, so she was just ?????? at them a lot of the time...

She thought Tamamo was actually a little bit hard to talk to, just because she seemed kind of... Above Escha? Not like she thought of herself as above Escha, but because Escha thought of her as above Escha. If that makes sense... Escha was intimidated by how pretty and cool she thought Tamamo was.

... But then Junpei was worried about Tamamo and he knew about Escha's cockblocker role. (Escha knew about Kagachi's ability to check if someone was possessed, but because we had to submit who we used our powers on early, even though Escha would have... Known... That Tamamo didn't need the protecting, I'd already had to submit it, so.......... ESCHA WAS DUMB THAT WEEK AS A SIDE EFFECT FROM BREAKING INTO A ROOM so it made a convenient excuse for why she had confirmed Tamamo was safe, then still chosen to protect her.)

So then Demonzawa attacked her, but Escha lived, and she was like "OH, I KNOW, I'll frame Tamamo, because she can't die to the ritual! And Dick, Junpei, and Kagachi all know that she's protected, so maybe they'll help convince people during the trial!"

But she's A) bad at framing people normally and B) was cursed with stupid while trying to frame someone, and C) IMMEDIATELY FORGOT that she'd done all of that bc of the stupidity curse. But as she started to remember, mostly Escha just felt guilty, because it was like - what a scary thing to put someone through! even if they would have been okay!!

And then she died, so that's kind of where it cut off. She still admires Tamamo, but in the end, she gets to go home, so? GOOD?? ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL??? The guilt was there up until the end, but now that Escha is being demonified and Tamamo isn't, she's kind of lost sight of it. But she hasn't lost sight of the positive feelings of respect and fondness, so........ Nice!
