[A meal table sits in one corner of the room. On it, she will spot three crystal fleshlights — each one of them with what appears to be a glowing sphere of light trapped inside of them.

[As always, the sphere of light flashes and temporarily blinds them. When they regain their vision, Beck and Zero will see that the sphere and fleshlights are gone... Furthermore, the meal table is now empty.

A notification will appear on Beck's clamshell a second later.]

SELECT ONE PERSON TO FRAME ON FRIDAY MORNING

[Thottlr will open itself as soon as she reads the notification. Beck can now click on a 👁 that has appeared at the bottom of everyone's profile to make her choice. However, it looks like she can't select herself or Zero.

From behind her Carlos, gags as if nauseous, muttering something between breaths. This is fine. Beck and Zero are free to discuss who they want to select, but the choice must be made before they leave the room. Please reply to Beck's choice subtl itself with her choice once it's made.]

Carlos covers his face with his hands, leaning back. Still mumbling, like he's lightly queasy:]

[She's tapping on the symbol at the bottom of Edelgard's profile.]

and then her Thottlr app returns to normal, without the eyes.

She'll receive a new notification:]

[ isn't there a saying about insanity and choices...? well whatever, Zero doesn't know it, judging by the way she unflinchingly picks the left fleshlight yet again ]

[As always, the sphere of light flashes and temporarily blinds the two of them. Once they regain their vision, Beck and Zero will see that the fleshlights and the sphere of light are gone... but there's nothing in their place on top of the meal table.

However, Zero will receive a notification in the next second. It reads:]

SELECT ONE ROOM TO UNLOCK

[Once she clicks through it, a series of maps will appear on her clamshell. It looks like she can make her selection by tapping on one of the locked rooms on the map. The clamshell will ask her to confirm, and once she does, the maps will disappear from her clamshell. Zero and Beck will have time to discuss which room they would like to unlock, but they will have to make their choice before leaving the room.

From his position on the chair, Carlos huffs out a laugh. It's just a teeny bit brittle.]

Looks like the left is making it up to you.

[ that's. hm. she frowns at Carlos, but it's half hearted - she's distracted by these possibilities. ]

You could try sounding a little more enthusiastic. This is good, isn't it?

[ Zero unlocks the first room connected to the Reception Room in basement 3 ]

[A new notification appears on her phone.]

[He's sitting on the chair next to one of the hospital beds when they arrive, eyes closed and head leaned back to rest against the wall. He blearily opens his eyes as soon as he hears their footsteps enter the room, blinking at them before leaning forward so he's not just laying there. Hewwo.]

Hey... You already know what you have to do. Let me know if you have any questions this week.

[He'll just be over here chilling while they do their thing.]

[As she takes note of his body language:]

[He gives her a weary smile, pressing a hand against his abdomen.]
