[If by "tricks" you mean that the trainer is going to go absolutely aggro on her after the first time she knocks it down? Then, yes. It's going to pull some "tricks." The difficulty rises after the first time Katy knocks it down, and it will make certain to aim for vital body parts. RNG says it will focus on her eyes and throat. How well will Katy do to evade and turn this around on the trainer?
Eighty seconds left.
It is at this point that the speed on Haymitch's treadmill will change without warning. RNG says it will jump from 9 to 2, and the inclination will suddenly drop. How well will he adapt to the abrupt change?]
[It jerks suddenly, and Haymitch jerks right with it, shoes catching on the slowed tread, his knees buckling-- it's only his wrapped wrists that save him, forcing him to recover as quickly as possible. Within a few seconds he's back up again, his knee stinging badly, skin scraped-- but whatever, it's fine, it doesn't matter. Right?]
[Well, this sucks! Katy knows well enough to protect her eyes, but she's not expecting the sudden jump in difficulty, so the trainer will probably be able to grab at her throat.
On the flipside, Katy is very not above fighting dirty, so she'll grab the thing by the hair when it lunges for her. That should give her enough leverage to throw it to the ground again.]
[Haymitch buckles, recovers, and all is fine... right? Well, no. Because as he gets back up again, he will feel a something stabbing into his right leg. He won't have time to check it out right away, but once he's able to stop, he will notice that he has a brand new injury. Specifically, one that looks as if he was stabbed on his right thigh. So, that's fun.
Forty seconds remaining. RNG says the treadmill will suddenly bump its speed up to 12. No change in inclination, and the instructor will continue as if nothing has happened.
Katy, on the other hand, will be both blessed and cursed by RNG. While grabbing the instructor by the hair will be enough to bring it down, Katy will be going down with it. Both of them will fall to the floor on their sides, the instructor's hands still wrapped around Katy's throat while Katy holds onto its hair. Sharp fingernails will dig into Katy's throat, before the grip slackens and the instructor suddenly begins to convulse and disintegrate. After all — it's been thrown to the ground twice.
Unfortunately for Katy, however, her victory is short lived. She will feel her flesh burning where she touched the ground. If she checks, she will indeed find first degree burns on her body.]
[He yells, his right leg buckling, his fingers digging deep into the faux-form on the treadmill's arms. Blood drips down his leg, but he ignores it, ignores the way he can feel blood slowly dripping and gathering into his shoe. That's a later problem.
Forty seconds, thirty . . . he'll keep himself upright through hell or high water.]
[Katy shrieks as she hits the ground, landing hard on her side. That hurts badly enough, but then she feels her skin sizzling and she scrambles back to her feet as quickly as she can to get away with it. She hasn't even felt the clawmarks on her throat yet.
At least that thing is gone, but fuck, her entire left side feels like it's on fire. She's shaking, but she bites hard on her lip to keep from crying over it. Nope, not today.
Can she get out of the shimmery bubble thing now please she is done with today and also—]
The treadmills jerk to a stop, and the remaining instructor collapses in an ungraceful heap. Just like the other instructor, it begins to convulse as it slowly dissolves into ashes... However, there is something different this time around. Since Haymitch is the closest, he will notice something blue and shiny poking out of the instructor's remains.
Katy will find that she's free to exit her section now, as well.]
[Oh, now she's noticed the marks in her throat. It's the blood she sees first, the trickles of red over her white shirt. Goddammit, this place is destroying her wardrobe, and that's a stupid thing to think when she's burnt all down one side and hey maybe her throat's cut too, it's hard to tell exactly how much damage has been done as her fingers move to inspect the marks.
[It is not, in fact, locked! they' have no problem exiting the room once they've reached the door. Once they're out, they'll have a scant few seconds to witness the room resetting itself before the door locks itself again.

He takes it, puts it in his pocket, and goes over to Katy. His hand careful, he takes her unburnt arm, pulling her forward firmly.]
C'mon.

What'd you pick up?
[He did pick something up, didn't he? She's only half paying attention. Walking hurts a fair bit given how burnt her leg is.]

Bye bye.]
