BREAK-IN: Grune, Kanesan and Tamamo pick up the braincell and immediately drop it

[Tamamo, meanwhile, is glad the lights are out, because her expression turns into fury for a brief moment.

[And uh even though she stopped Grune from moving, she is going to walk forward and reach down to touch the thing that Grune accidentally kicked. Trying to be careful, but hey, is that thing small enough for her to pick up?

Listen she's had her one braincell for long enough. ]

Well.

That's the funny thing.

Tamamo tries to reach down, and immediately smacks her head against something solid. Once again, the same hollow, metallic clang echoes across the room. Oops!

Kanesan will have a bit more luck searching the left side of the room. His fingers will come across what appears to be a switch, just a step or two away from the door they just came through. Will he flip it?]

[ because the three of them are apparently sharing uno braincell, he is definitely going to flip that switch! ]

Kanesan flips the switch, and the fluorescent tubes attached to the ceiling come to life. Nice!

Now that they can see what's directly in front of them, Tamamo and Grune will see what they bumped into. It's a metal filing cabinet! A metal locker is pressed against it to the right, and there is a posted pinned to the wall to its left.

That said, if they take a look to their right, they will see several things. First of all, there is a nice mahogany desk halfway through the room. It comes equipped with a nice, ergonomic chair. Immediately, they will notice that there are three monitors on top of the desk, a keyboard, and a few other miscellaneous things. They will need to approach the desk to see what these things are.

On the wall left of the desk, they will see a ridiculously wide monitor propped up on the wall. It is currently off. To the right of the desk, right around a little corner, they will see what appear to be... jail cell bars? Huh. They're only barely visible from their current position by the entrance, however.

Welcome to the SECURITY OFFICE. What will they look at first.]

[ i just remembered grune and tamamo touched as i opened this notif and i closed my eyes

anyway, so while grune is apparently fighting this burning desire to pin tamamo against the cabinet i GUESS, she blinks in surprise as the light turns on??

she'll actually move towards the desk though. and then go to sit on it, as if she is seeing how much weight it can hold to make out on. i hate this. while she's here what are the other things on the desk. ]

[Yikes her head hurts. Also now she's horny so, A+ all around?? God, she is going to pinwheel back a few steps and then frown murder at the filing cabinet.

And approach it again once she's done swearing under her breath. Is there a way to open it? She's gonna just try and yank that sucker open, she still big mad]

so he's going to go take a look at the poster! and maybe see if he can open that locker while he's at it. or is it. locked. as lockers are wont to be. ]

[Now that she's sitting at the desk, Grune will find that it's very sturdy! She will also find that she's parked her caboose right over a desk calendar and a wireless mouse. There's a nice mug filled with pens, markers and pencils on one corner of the desk. That's nice.

Unfortunately for Tamamo, it seems like she's losing her battle against the filing cabinet! There are two drawers, and both of them are locked. However, there are keyholes next to each drawer...

Kanesan will have a bit more luck with his endeavors. The poster reads:]

WHEN YOU LEAVE YOUR DESK:
1. ALWAYS LOCK YOUR COMPUTER
2. LOCK LAPTOPS AND SENSITIVE PAPERS AWAY
3. FOLLOW A CLEAR DESK POLICY

[Meanwhile, the locker is unlocked! Inside he will find two sexy security guard uniforms, a flashlight, a self-defense baton, and a pair of handcuffs.]

[She is so glad Grune is so Grune and thus it makes it easier not to throw her against the desk. As for the cabinet drawers, she's just gonna try and unlock them using her stolen pin against the keyholes. Maybe the same trick will work twice.]

[ he's giving tamamo a quizzical look but you know what, he's not going to ask since she's already getting to work on the locks. instead he pulls out the outfits to check if they have like... pockets? or anything inside those hypothetical pockets? idk man he doesn't want to miss anything.

when he's done with those he'll put them back and take out the flashlight, baton, and handcuffs. he's got no idea what the flashlight is? but he'll figure that out later because he's taking them over to the desk to set down. ]

The poster says something about a computer, laptop, and some papers. We should try looking for those.

[ he's heard about computers but what's a laptop, ]

[No juicy dates, no! But as Grune takes a look at the calendar, she will notice that the majority of it has been completely blacked out with a marker. Only seven weeks remain visible, and from those weeks, several days have been crossed out with a red pen. Those days are equal to the amount of time they have been trapped on the ship.

Tamamo, luckily, will discover that lightning does strike twice. After some fiddling with the pin, the drawers will be unlocked.

There is nothing in the pockets when Kanesan searches, no matter how deep he shoves his hands into those booty shorts.]

[ ... huh. how weird! anyway!

she'll then look at the keyboard and just start

pressing the keys randomly. it looks like the scenes in movies where someone is "hacking" but they're just slamming on letters. ]

Have you found anything?

[ she looks at kanesan when she says that because she is trying very hard not to look at tamamo right now. ]

[She didn't actually think she would get lucky again, that's just not how it usually happens. Ehem, anyway, her ears give an excited twitch and she will happily yank these suckers open. Drawer #1, what do you got for the fox girl?

Nothing in the clothing, but there's these. A baton, some handcuffs, and... whatever this is.

[With Grune hitting keys at random, the computer will wake up. The monitors will display a login screen, for the user ADMIN. It's asking for a password.

Tamamo will find incident reports filed away in the first drawer, each one stored within its own folder. If she takes a look at them, they are all yellowed and smudged beyond recognition, heavy water damage apparent on the pages.

The flashlight is going to turn on the moment Kanesan hits the button. It's also one of those fancy, ultra bright LED flashlights. Goodbye, eyesight.]

[Well that's a whole lotta nothing. After checking each folder just in case there's something hidden, she will switch to the second drawer, hoping for something a bit more interesting]

[ thank you kyuu, please know that i love you. kanesan, meanwhile, immediately recoils and accidentally drops the flashlight - you know those scenes in cartoons where someone struggles to catch something they didn't mean to drop? that's happening, and when it's over he flips the switch back off so we don't do that again!!

Upon taking a closer look, Tamamo will find that it's a handwritten note. It reads:]

Couldn't trust that they wouldn't make it disappear.

[Nothing additional on the calendar. But now that Kanesan is searching for drawers on the desk, he will notice that the desk has two drawers. One to the left side of the desk, and another to the right. Both seem to have keyholes.]
