They will hear something behind them as they leave, similar to the static filled noise produced by the public address system... and then it's gone. Should they turn around, they will see as the room settles itself back into its original state. The cabinets lock themselves, the locker doors close, and the lights shut themselves off.
The door swings shut, the lock clicking back into place a moment later. Should they try to get in again, they will find that no method works.
