wwx… hahaha. Kanesan always liked him? He thinks the guy has a good sense of humor and could see that he was trying very hard to find a way to help everyone from the very start - and that’s absolutely something he appreciated from day one. So he’s a bit of a gremlin? That’s fine, there are plenty of gremlins in the citadel. It’s no big.

He was definitely surprised when WWX came to him for sex first? Like… he’s a sword. He just learned about this. Why him? Kanesan never did learn that it was because he apparently reminded WWX of Lan Zhan and it’s probably because WWX himself never realized it which is so funny and so stupid. Anyways he hoped he did a good job and honestly… kind of wanted to get some experience and go back to WWX later to earn his apparent aura of good sex skills, which I hate, but there we go. Because, you know, WWX was kind of weird, but he was trying to do good? And he doesn’t look half bad either, and those are the two most important things here, obviously.

Of course he never got the chance to prove his prowess because he went and DIED, which sucked. But Kanesan watched from the graveyard whenever he had the chance, and his opinion of WWX didn’t really change much! In fact, he grew to appreciate WWX even more for never giving up, even if he did learn that Wei Ying is, in fact, an absolute gremlin and not nearly as stylish as he appears at first glance. But if he’d learned that it was WWX who inherited his role, Kanesan would’ve been rather pleased by it, given all his past efforts with the talismans and such.

HOWEVER… the one really big downside came around endgame, when they learned more about their fates and that those who died would basically be trapped or doom their worlds to being sex demon fodder. Kanesan did know the whole time that blood magic was in WWX’s repertoire, but somehow it became a lot more real at that point? Like, damn, blood magic is what got us into this mess and blood magic is what will doom our worlds if the living go that route, so like… what good could possibly come of it? He’s uh. Not too fond of the idea of putting all the worlds at further risk for their sake, especially if the supposed rescue method involves blood magic WHICH HAS NEVER GONE WELL FOR THEM.

It’s also disgusting to be given clothing drenched in blood, you know? Gross. Kanesan has a reputation to uphold, thank you very much.

But uhhh he appreciates the effort? WWX is using what he knows to try and help out, and that’s great - he just has a really nasty, gremlin way of going about it. But that’s just WWX’s entire being, so sure, whatever (so maybe it’s better for Kanesan that he died and they never thotted again). Kanesan’s glad he’s still alive though, so he’ll be cheering WWX on from the graveyard! Rescue them if you can, my dude, otherwise maybe chill with the blood magic because that never seems to help.
