I think somewhere in our first thread I was hypothetically turning to people like, "is aizawa going to, at some point, fuck taako from tv??" who is a mythical figure I only know from memes and tumblr posts? And then we got slightly later in that thread and
"AIZAWA?? IS GOING TO FUCK TAAKO FROM TV??"

They had a nice dynamic, tbh, and probably would have kept up as decent fuckbuddies if not for... the whole demon thing. Taako was one of the people Aizawa, stuck in his own mind, was kind of worried for just because- he's attractive?
Like, objectively so, even if they didn't have emotional ties to it. and if the demons are linked to sex/romance then he could be at risk? then again the demon did tie him up and leave him and not kill him so.

Anyways, things were slightly more complicated once Taako died because they'd both had a chance to go in their own direction a bit. Plus, once Taako had his magic back it was sort of- even if that was his natural self, Aizawa just didn't see the point
(also aizawa just has weird tastes and prefers taako with showing roots and scars, ok)

That said, Taako was the one glowing light of optimism once they figured out the whole... fiction thing. And Aizawa doesn't understand and refuses to understand a damn thing about magic but he respects how much Taako tried.

So, yeah, he doesn't want or expect Taako to like him and it's really refreshing to just- have an acquaintance of mutual dickishness. If asked, though, he would say Taako's alright and he likes him just fine. Even if he ended up tying him up and leaving him. "It's fair payback."
