Pretty much all of their interactions are going to be stuck with that weird note in the back of Aizawa's head, like. This is?? The author??? Which, well, if that information had dropped at a different time he may have taken it better but dying sure sort of opens your mind and makes you wonder what the hell's going on anymore.
Not to mention when a guy your age but way shorter just sort of looks at you and explains you're cute because gap moe??
He definitely trusts Chuuya enough as an ally after their adventure in the ruins but there's a bit of him that's basically like "hm. not sure I can handle this person"
which isn't an insult or compliment it's just more evidence of aizawa being a socially awkward guy
