Tamamo, unlike their dear friend who wrote the letters, is not interested in examining the creature. Mouth thinned from exhaustion, adrenaline, and irritation, she grabs Kagachi's wrist and starts tugging him in the direction of the security office.]
[the one bright side, at the time, was that if anyone should die here, better him and tamamo than dick, for reasons. except for the part where tamamo had the heart, that would've been the bad part.

after the initial shock, kagachi tugs his hand free. he follows, but he doesn't take his eye off the monster, instead stepping backwards as they head towards the security office.]

anyway! i'd love to say that kagachi corrects tamamo but actually he stays outside the office to keep an eye on the salt—though he does reflexively glance into the office. please tell me taking his eyes off the salt turns it back into a monster that kills me.]

[ dick tries 391150 as a password for the computer, but if that doesn't work (because looking through the notes they found there's nothing. else that could serve as a password), he'll direct them to move on to get to the door and the fuck out of here because they have the heart and they should get the fUCK out of here before the monster unbecomes salt ]
They now have access to the security system! Turns out there are hidden cameras in the hallway ceilings I don't believe they ever looked at, aimed into the cells and covering the halls as well. There's also a sound panel for that microphone, with each cell and hall speaker labeled. "Where were those earlier?" Good question. A tile on the wall slides open to reveal one in here.
If they'd gotten in earlier this could have been used to track the monster and potentially send messages. The connection seems a little spotty, though.]
