Hello, friends! First of all, we would like to formally thank you for joining us in this 7-week-long wild ride. We hope you had as much fun playing in this game as we did running it! This game would not have been possible without all of you, and we are super duper grateful for your support.

That said, this game was a conglomeration of experimental mechanics. From the mod side, we've identified some things that worked and some that didn't. There are definitely a number of things we believe we can improve and/or do differently should any of these mechanics be used in future games. However, we'd like to know what you felt did and didn't work from the player perspective.

All comments will be screened, so you can feel comfortable providing your feedback. Most of us will be at work today, so we may not be able to see your feedback right away, but we will definitely be reviewing and discussing as soon as we are able to.

I wish I had more time to prepare but foresight is really 20/20... Beck and Zero, if you're reading this, I'm sorry. You were my team and I failed you. I should have known something was up the moment I realized my future self never showed me anything past tonight. If I had, maybe I could have warned you guys before you both ended up here.

Polly, I sure as hell hope you're around to read this.

To everyone else, I hope that fourth option you've been looking into works. If not, then I'm sorry things turned out this way. But whatever you do now, don't lose hope. Even if we don't find a solution today or tomorrow, that doesn't mean we never will. And more importantly, there are people among the living who want to protect our worlds too. Don't give up.

If everything goes well, then I'll see you guys again under happier circumstances.

Last week, I hope. I’m sick of this place-- I’m tired of not being able to keep people I give half a shit about from dying. I’ve had enough of that at home.

They’re coming for me, but it was worth it if it gave everybody still alive a shot at getting the info they’re going to need. As long as they can get us all back… that’s all I need, even if Wei Ying’s right about this immortality business not always being permanent. If they get us all home--

Dying would be worth it for that alone. I promised I’d do whatever it takes to get back to Yokohama, so… wait for me, Boss. Anesan. Hirotsu-san, Kajii. Everyone.

Two days and they haven’t come for me yet, but at this point it’s a matter of time. Whoever finds this- take the other notes and get them where they need to go. If I come back, I’ll just burn them and this won’t even matter-- why the fuck am I bothering to write that, then-- goddamnit. Nevermind. Look, if you can still find them, that probably means you should pass them on. I already burned everything else that was in this book, so don’t bother looking for that.
